COVID cases have dropped significantly in our area since the peak numbers of cases in October and November. Nevertheless, the state remains in the orange risk level zone.
Introductory Course
Beginning in January, Wednesday night will be open to introductory practice from 5:30-6:30. A sign up sheet will be posted on Sunday each week. Introductory level students will be given first priority to sign up. However starting 8pm Tuesday, the remaining dojo members can sign up in available space. Class size will be limited. If you know someone that would like to try Aikido, this class is a good starting place.
“Introductory level” refers to any students who started practice in 2020 or 2021. Students will need to purchase a uniform from the dojo or elsewhere in advance if they haven’t already. There will be a monthly fee of $35 for students taking only this Wednesday evening course. Once regular classes resume, or participants in this class add a private partner practice, regular member dues would be required.
All partner practice arrangements that were established during January of 2020 can continue. Dan grades will need to re-submit requests for 2021 private practice sessions. Members who are looking for private practice sessions should email me.
