The weapons curriculum offered here reflects intensive training within a traditional Aikido lineage. This work has been preserved through exacting, sustained practice undertaken by a small number of committed practitioners. Through weapons practice, the lines sharpen, ma-ai becomes unmistakable, kokyu must stabilize under pressure, and ukemi demands sincerity. It is offered in respect for the generations who committed themselves to carrying this work forward.
All participants must wear an appropriate training uniform and acknowledge the risks inherent in this practice.

A potluck will follow training. Everyone is welcome. Please respect our facility, members and our practice. If you cannot provide some food or drink for the potluck, contributions can be made.
